			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Exercise is a wonderful part of our lives keeping us young and fit. But sometimes we can lose our enthusiasm and need a push to get out there and get moving again. So here are some important motivational techniques to keep exercising.</p>
<p>If your life is directed by your phone and its applications then this can be a helpful tool to make sure that exercise is scheduled into your day. Start on Sunday and add your exercise routine into your calendar. Planning ahead seems to keep your mind focused on following through on that vital lifeline, our day by day calendars.</p>
<p>Of course the most essential aspect to motivate you is that you like the exercise you are doing. Making yourself run when you abhor running will mean that you will easily find something pressing that must be done instead of getting a run in. What do you love to do that gets you moving? There are no rules to what exercise needs to be.</p>
<p>If you love roller skating, then strap them on and start skating. Or if dancing gets your blood pumping then turn on the music or buy a DVD that takes you through dance moves and get your groove on while making your heart pump.</p>
<p>A great way to motivate you is to find a friend to exercise with. Having a buddy to work out with is motivation for two reasons. One is that you get to socialize while working out and you will have someone to be beholden too. If you commit to work out with a friend then you know they are depending on you and you will get out of bed to be there.</p>
<p>On top of doing an activity that you like to do, add in your favorite music too. Music has the power to motivate as we all have felt the surge when our favorite tune from high school comes on through our headphones. Create a play list with songs that will keep you moving for at least thirty minutes and you will have had a great workout.</p>
<p>If leaving your house is the challenge then stay home. There are a lot of ways such as <a href="http://www.physicalassets.com">Treadmills</a>, weight machines, and specific DVDS that can allow you to have a gym in your home. Set the machine near a television or music and hop on for at least a half an hour. You are increasing your health all within the comfort of your own home.</p>
<p>There are no hard and fast rules to how you have to work out. The only thing that is imperative is that you do work out. The above are motivational techniques to keep exercising quick, simple, and effective. Moving at least a half an hour a day is increasing your health enormously. Do not forget to reward yourself as you begin to see the results of your exercise regime. Find something you want, that is not food related, and promise yourself that is your reward for working hard and making healthy choices. That is motivation that anyone can respond to.</p>

<p>Eleanor Simmonds a fifteen year old paralympic swimmer from Walsall has made headlines recently due to her excellent achievements and her insistence that she feels she has not achieved her best performance yet. The fifteen year old set a new world record whilst participating in the BT Paralympic World Cup this week.  She smashed the 100m freestyle world record and gained a Gold medal at the same event last year and then gave another record breaking first place performance in the 200m medley last Monday. Her record breaking time of 3.1.06 minutes meant that she finished over two seconds before the second place winner Brit Natalie Jones.</p>
<p>Simmonds is determined that she can still improve and feels that she is nowhere near her fittest yet, she says this with the World Championships in Eindhoven due to kick off in three months time, her next big focus.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m really happy with the 200m medley because at the moment I&#8217;m in training for the World Championships so I didn&#8217;t think the time would be that good,&#8221; Simmonds is said to have said.</p>
<p>&#8220;But I think I&#8217;m in good shape for the Worlds &#8211; I hope I am anyway. The times here would say that I am swimming fast and hopefully I can get quicker later in the summer.</p>
<p>Although she made victory in the 100m freestyle at Manchester she did not manage to have the same success in the 100m breaststroke race at the same event despite achieving an admirable personal best of 1.49.11 minutes she finished fourth. The future is very bright for Simmonds in her swimming career. </p>
<p>The BT Paralympic World Cup is the largest multi-sport annual premium disability competition in the world and more than three hundred athletes competed in Manchester from May 25-31. The event is intended to bridge the gap between the paralympic games which occur every four years.</p>

<p>Brazil have been dominant for years and it with their strength of their team continuing to snowball over time, it is likely that will continue. They have done considerably well in the past, having multiple wins and in fact, more wins than any other team. The first win came back in 1958. This was the year they faced the Swedish side, but eventually put them to bed with an impressive 5-2 victory</p>
<p>1962 was the next time Brazil natives saw a similar performance, a performance that truly showed their dominance and skill. They managed to challenged the Czechs early in the final, and eventually took a 3-1 victory. The successful final did not come until 1970, where Brazil would face Italy, who did well to knock out the Germans in the semi final. Eventually Brazil was victorious in a spectacular fashion with a 4-1 win.</p>
<p>Unfortunately for Brazil it would be a full 24 years before they reached another final. The weird thing for Brazil was, they would actually come up against Italy once more. This was certainly not a repeat performance though, with Italy holding them to a 0-0 draw, although Brazil went on to win based on penalties. Most World Cup 2010 Forum boards are talking about past events as we speak.</p>
<p>1998 was a tough year for Brazil, where they managed to reach the final, but eventually lost to an extremely strong French team. Of course, they came back strong in 2002 with a win against Germany, the 2-0 victory eventually putting them as champions.</p>
<p>Whilst no other team has shown as much dominance as Brazil, the likes of Italy have shown strength. They had a great run before 1950, winning the 1934 and 1938 World Cup. Their third win came in 1982 with Rossi being one of the main assets of the team, with the fourth coming not too long after.</p>
<p>Germany has also showed some form over the years, taking three wins in total. This included their most recent wins in 1974 and 1990.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>5 minutes does not seem long. It is enough though to get major results. When you pick up a weight to start a set is it very tough at the beginning? No, not if you are planning on lifting it for 12 reps.</p>
<p>For the first 10 reps you probably don&#8217;t even have to try that hard. You are only preparing your muscles and mind to give forth a maximum effort during those last few critical reps.</p>
<p>If a given set consists of 12 reps, then reps 1-10 are only performed in order to get to reps 11 and 12. Reps 1-10 will do very little in terms of stimulating muscular growth, but are necessary to perform in order to overload the muscles on reps 11 and 12.</p>
<p>In other words, it is only the last 1-2 reps that will ultimately yield a muscle building response from the body.</p>
<p>If we assume that a complete workouts has you performing 12 reps total all out sets per workout and your last 2 reps take about 7-8 seconds, this gives you 90 seconds of total time per workout to either battle through with full effort or to surrender to the burn and settle for mediocre results.</p>
<p>Your success happens only through failure and this happens on the last 2 sets.</p>
<p>If you can force yourself to train to all out muscular failure, you&#8217;ll achieve the best results possible. If you drop the weight 7-8 seconds before muscular failure, your muscle growth, definition and fat loss will be compromised.</p>
<p>So how much can you work out? At 3 workouts per 5 minutes, how many 5 minutes can you squeeze in in a week? Should be many. One thing I like about a 5 minute &#8220;muscle&#8221; break is I usually do not even start to sweat so I can do it without showering.</p>
<p>When you can hardly move the weight is when you need to dig deep. It is the last rep that counts. You can do it.</p>
<p>The end of the set is super hard but focus helps you get through. And you can train yourself to focus. And remember &#8211; you can do almost anything for 5 minutes.</p>
<p>Using a timer is one way to keep on track and one way to keep the workouts to 5 minutes.</p>

If a 10 minute walk is all you can manage for the first day, just do it every day the first week. The following week, try to increase to 15 minutes per day. Once you get your regimen under way, you will probably be able to increase more than 5 minute each week.</p>

<p>When it is cold outside, our bodies react by producing heat. However, when it is hot our bodies sweat to cool us off.</p>
