Physical Symptoms of Anxiety

Both Anxiety and panic disorder have physical symptoms that can be rather weak or very severe, but the main difference is someone with a panic disorder will feel them only during an real attack. Someone with generalized anxiety disorder will likely live every day with some sort of physical symptom.

Many physical symptoms of the common anxiety disorder can manifest as extreme rigidness throughout the body, can not concentrate for a long time to anything due to constant worry, and the ability to get to sleep.

Panic attacks are seen a little more aggressively on the physical side as difficulty breathing, feeling disoriented, violent shaking, rapid heartbeat, and many other related problems can be observed.

Many people with a mild generalized anxiety disorder can live out their normal life with small changes in their life. They may have trouble concentrating and their constant worrying and nitpicking at loved ones could interfere with their personal relationships.

Severe cases can interfere considerably with the person’s daily life, compromising their capability to hold down a permanent job, interact with friends, or even leave their home.

Those who suffer from panic disorder live out their life in fear of the next attack. They may be afraid to go into certain places or situations for fear they will not be capabable to escape or will incomfortable in the case an attack come about. This results into even more anxiety and in many cases the fear of having an attack can actually cause an attack.

Lots of sufferers spend too much time trying to sift through every physical sensation that they feel in an effort to catch an attack before the onslaught.

A huge concern with many suffering from the standard anxiety disorder is that with all of their worrying and being distraught, they can cause an all out attack. It is habitually in cases where there may be a reason to have some concern and with the extra stressing they find themselves in a situation they can no longer deal with.
